Summary of Youlanda's  wellness Journey:

"In the year 2005 is when my passion for my holistic healing  journey began, in my quest to optimize my health I was able to ween myself off prescription medication for anti-depressants through holistic health modalities which was prescribed to me due to me grieving the loss of my childhood best friend of 20 years who was brutally murdered. In addition to some other family tragedies that caused me to experience extreme symptoms of anxiety and PTSD."

"In 2012, my passion for iridology came into being when I injured in a car accident and  was prescribed hydrocodone for back pains. After being on the pain killer for a short time, I was experiencing severe digestive issues which included vomiting and having extreme stomach pains. I was hospitalized for 1 week with a white blood cell count of 24, I was then placed on antibiotics by a blood doctor which helped my white count go down.  I began to do my own research and so I turned to a coworker who I knew shared the same holistic lifestyle as myself.  She referred me to an Iridology practitioner who she knew very well because she herself was a client.  I was unaware of what Iridology meant at the time; however, I was intrigued by the idea of what a practitioner could actually learn about my body just by looking into my eyes. After 3 weeks of herbal and nutritional therapy, small diet changes, and food sensitivity awareness changed my life for the better! "
